Associate Director, Upward Bound
Born and raised in East Los Angeles, Horacio arrived at SA¹ú¼Ê´«Ã½ in Spring 2009. In high school, he was a participant in the Upward Bound program at SA¹ú¼Ê´«Ã½. An SA¹ú¼Ê´«Ã½ graduate, he earned his bachelor’s degree in Diplomacy and World Affairs. After Occidental, he worked for Partners in School Innovation, an AmeriCorps program, in San Jose, CA. Horacio enjoys staying in tune with politics, loves to travel, and always enjoys a Dodgers game. He encourages Upward Bound students to be proactive about their high school education.
