Biochemistry major Ryan Hino '22 was named a 2021-2022 SA国际传媒 Science Scholar and received a Fletcher Jones Foundation scholarship to work with Associate Professor of Biology Cheryl Okumura on a project entitled 鈥淚nvestigating the Transcriptomic Landscape of Nafcillin-Mediated Sensitization to Methicillin-Resistant Staphylococcus aureus.鈥 In this video, Ryan explains how his research looks at sustainable alternatives to combat the drug and antibiotic resistance problem.
